How to Touch to Enlarge Top Screen Icons on iPhone

If you find that the little icons at the top of the iPhone's screen are a bit too small to see, there's a way to enable the touch to enlarge feature to see them better. Do note that it will require you to enlarge your iPhone's text to be very large, but if you find the iPhone hard to read, this may be perfect for you!

Why You'll Love This Tip:

* Make the icons at the top of the iPhone screen larger when you touch and hold them.

* Make the text of your iPhone larger and easier to see.

How to Make the Icons at the Top of the Screen Larger

System Requirements

This tip was performed on an iPhone 12 running iOS 17.3 or later. Learn how to update to the latest iOS.

If you want to be able to get an easier view of the small icons that line the top of the iPhone's home screen (officially called the status bar), you can go into Settings to enable a hidden touch to enlarge feature. * On your iPhone, open Settings.

* Tap Accessibility.

* Tap Display & Text Size.

* Tap Larger Text.

* Toggle on Larger Accessibility Sizes.

* Drag the slider to any of the last five notches to enable touch to enlarge.

* Now, touch any of the icons at the top of the screen. They will enlarge as a separate window in the center of your iPhone's screen.

And that's how you enable the hidden touch to enlarge feature to make the small icons at the top of the home screen easier to see. I hope this helps! Keep in mind that to enable these larger status bar icons, the rest of the text on your iPhone will be enlarged as well.
