How to Customize an Action Menu on Your iPhone


When you tap the Share icon in an app, you are taken to a menu that includes options for Recent Contacts, Apps, and Actions. Editing the Favorites section of an action menu in apps like Photos or Notes lets you add the functions you use most often in that app to the top of the action menu. To edit an action menu, you'll need to select Edit Actions at the bottom of your screen and locate the function you want to edit, such as Print or Copy. How to Customize Action Menus in the iPhone Share Screen

  1. To open the action menu that you want to edit, tap the app's Share icon (a rectangle with an up arrow at the top).
  2. Scroll down to the bottom of the menu and select Edit Actions.
  3. Tap the green circle beside an action to add it to Favorites.


     
  4. To change the display order of actions in the Favorites menu, press and hold the tab icon beside an action.
  5. Drag and drop that action to your preferred position in the list.


     
  6. When you're finished rearranging your actions, tap Done.

Now, when you go to the action menu in that app, your favorite actions will the listed at the top of the menu for easy access.
